First and foremost, the scholarship helped me become financially independent from my parents. Since I study on a tuition-based program, my parents have to pay a considerable amount for my education, and they used to provide me with money for living expenses as well. Now, the scholarship, together with my part-time work, helps me stay financially afloat.

Although I did not know Denys personally, I am grateful to him and to his parents for everything — for what you do and for giving me additional motivation to study and strive for achievement.

I believe this scholarship is very valuable because, at least in my case, it showed me that my hard work and efforts are truly worthwhile.

Thanks to the scholarship, I was able to pay the TOPIK examination fee earlier this winter and successfully passed the exam at Level 4 in April.
